This policy explains what information Saudi Coffee Guide (we, us) collects when you visit our website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Saudi Coffee Guide is a coffee reviews and buying guides website for readers in Saudi Arabia.

What we collect and why

Server and security logs

When you visit, our web host and any content delivery or security service in front of the site receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. This is needed to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We do not use these logs to identify you personally, and they are kept by those providers for a limited time under their own settings.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example which articles are read, which country and device type visitors use, and how they reach us. Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar technology in your browser. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising features. People who are logged in to edit the site are not tracked.

Affiliate click statistics

When you click a link to Amazon from our site, we record a simple count: the date, your country, the Amazon product code (ASIN), the article the link was on, the page language, and which part of the page the link was in (for example a button or a table). We do not store your IP address, a cookie or any information that identifies you in this record. Your country is worked out from the request by our host or content delivery network. To avoid counting a double click twice, a one-way scrambled value made from your connection details is kept for about five seconds and then discarded. Bots and logged-in editors are not counted. These records are deleted automatically after about 14 months.

The same click can also be sent to Google Analytics as an event, as described above.

Searching the site

Words you type in the site search are used only to show you results. We do not keep a separate record of them.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it only to reply, to correct or improve our articles, and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list.

A setting stored on your device

If your browser language differs from the language of the page, we may show a small card suggesting the other language version. When you dismiss it or use it, a small flag is saved in your browser local storage so we do not show it again. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The following can be set by others:

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them, but blocking Amazon cookies may mean we do not receive credit for a purchase you make. You can also stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on from Google.

Saudi Coffee Guide takes part in the Amazon Associates programme. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you click an Amazon link and buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon collects and uses data about you when you visit its website, under its own privacy notice, and we do not control or receive that data. We learn only the sales and commission information that Amazon reports to us, which does not identify you. See our Affiliate disclosure page for more.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Why we are allowed to use your data

We use the data above to run and secure the site, to understand how it is used, to improve our articles, and to measure the performance of our affiliate links. Where applicable law such as the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, or the GDPR for visitors in the EEA and UK, requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in doing so, and on your consent where consent is required, for example for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time by changing your browser settings.

Transfers outside Saudi Arabia

Our providers, including Google and our host, may process data on servers outside Saudi Arabia. We choose providers that apply security safeguards, and we share only what is needed for the service.

How long we keep data

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the site and the data we hold, including secure HTTPS connections and restricted staff access. No website can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Because our click statistics are not linked to you as a person, we usually cannot find or change data about one individual, but we will always check and tell you what we can. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will reply as soon as reasonably possible and within the time required by law. You also have the right to complain to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), or to the data protection authority in your own country.

Children

The site is for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our articles link to websites we do not control, including Amazon and manufacturer sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant we will make it clear on the site.

نستخدم Google Analytics 4 لفهم كيفية استخدام الزوار للموقع، مثل المقالات التي تُقرأ ودولة الزائر ونوع جهازه وكيف وصل إلينا. قد يضع Google Analytics ملفات تعريف ارتباط أو يستخدم تقنيات مشابهة في متصفحك. تذكر Google أن Google Analytics 4 لا يسجل أو يخزّن عناوين IP الفردية. لا نستخدم ميزات الإعلانات في Google Analytics. ولا يُتتبَّع الأشخاص الذين سجّلوا الدخول لإدارة الموقع.

إحصاءات النقرات على روابط الإحالة

عند نقرك على رابط إلى أمازون من موقعنا، نسجّل عدًّا بسيطًا يشمل: التاريخ، ودولتك، ورمز المنتج في أمازون (ASIN)، والمقال الذي كان فيه الرابط، ولغة الصفحة، وموضع الرابط في الصفحة (مثل زر أو جدول). لا نخزّن عنوان IP الخاص بك ولا ملف تعريف ارتباط ولا أي معلومة تحدد هويتك في هذا السجل. تُحدَّد الدولة من الطلب بواسطة جهة الاستضافة أو شبكة توصيل المحتوى. ولتجنب احتساب النقرة المزدوجة مرتين، تُحفظ قيمة مشفّرة باتجاه واحد مأخوذة من بيانات اتصالك لمدة خمس ثوانٍ تقريبًا ثم تُحذف. لا تُحتسب نقرات الروبوتات ولا المحررين المسجّلين. وتُحذف هذه السجلات تلقائيًا بعد نحو 14 شهرًا.

قد تُرسَل النقرة نفسها أيضًا إلى Google Analytics كحدث، كما هو موضح أعلاه.

البحث في الموقع

الكلمات التي تكتبها في بحث الموقع تُستخدم فقط لعرض النتائج، ولا نحتفظ بسجل مستقل لها.

الرسائل التي ترسلها إلينا

إذا راسلتنا عبر البريد الإلكتروني فسنستلم عنوان بريدك وما تكتبه. نستخدمه فقط للرد عليك، ولتصحيح مقالاتنا أو تحسينها، وللاحتفاظ بسجل المراسلة. ولا نضيفك إلى أي قائمة بريدية.

إعداد يُحفظ على جهازك

إذا اختلفت لغة متصفحك عن لغة الصفحة فقد نعرض بطاقة صغيرة تقترح النسخة بلغتك. وعند إغلاقها أو استخدامها تُحفظ علامة صغيرة في التخزين المحلي لمتصفحك كي لا نعرضها مرة أخرى. تبقى هذه العلامة على جهازك ولا تُرسَل إلينا.

ملفات تعريف الارتباط والتقنيات المشابهة

لا يضع الموقع نفسه ملفات تعريف ارتباط للإعلانات أو للتتبع. وقد تضع الجهات التالية ملفات من هذا النوع:

يمكنك حظر ملفات تعريف الارتباط أو حذفها من إعدادات متصفحك. يعمل الموقع بدونها، لكن حظر ملفات أمازون قد يعني ألا نحصل على احتساب لعملية شراء أجريتها. ويمكنك أيضًا منع Google Analytics من جمع بيانات زياراتك بتثبيت إضافة المتصفح الرسمية من Google لإلغاء الاشتراك في Google Analytics.

روابط الإحالة وأمازون

مع من نشارك البيانات

لا نبيع البيانات الشخصية ولا نشاركها لأغراض إعلانية لجهات خارجية.

الأساس النظامي لاستخدام بياناتك

نستخدم البيانات المذكورة لتشغيل الموقع وحمايته، وفهم طريقة استخدامه، وتحسين مقالاتنا، وقياس أداء روابط الإحالة. وحيث تتطلب الأنظمة المطبّقة، مثل نظام حماية البيانات الشخصية في السعودية أو اللائحة الأوروبية GDPR للزوار في المنطقة الاقتصادية الأوروبية والمملكة المتحدة، أساسًا نظاميًا، فإننا نعتمد على مصلحتنا المشروعة في ذلك، وعلى موافقتك حيث تكون الموافقة مطلوبة، مثل ملفات تعريف الارتباط غير الضرورية. ويمكنك سحب موافقتك في أي وقت بتغيير إعدادات متصفحك.

النقل خارج السعودية

قد تعالج الجهات التي نتعامل معها، ومنها Google وجهة الاستضافة، البيانات على خوادم خارج المملكة. نختار جهات تطبّق ضمانات أمنية، ولا نشارك إلا ما تتطلبه الخدمة.

مدة الاحتفاظ بالبيانات

الأمان

نطبّق إجراءات تقنية وتنظيمية معقولة لحماية الموقع والبيانات التي نحتفظ بها، ومنها اتصالات HTTPS الآمنة وتقييد وصول الفريق. ولا يمكن ضمان أمان أي موقع إلكتروني بشكل مطلق.

حقوقك

بحسب مكان إقامتك، قد يكون لك الحق في معرفة البيانات الشخصية التي نحتفظ بها عنك، وطلب تصحيحها أو حذفها، والاعتراض على استخدامها أو تقييده، وسحب الموافقة. ولأن إحصاءات النقرات لدينا غير مرتبطة بك كشخص، فغالبًا لا نستطيع العثور على بيانات فرد بعينه أو تعديلها، لكننا سنتحقق دائمًا ونخبرك بما نستطيع. لتقديم طلب راسلنا عبر [email protected]. سنرد في أقرب وقت معقول وضمن المدة التي يحددها النظام. ويحق لك أيضًا تقديم شكوى إلى الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا)، أو إلى جهة حماية البيانات في بلدك.

الأطفال

الموقع موجّه لجمهور عام وليس للأطفال. ولا نجمع عن علم بيانات شخصية من الأطفال. إذا اعتقدت أن طفلًا أرسل إلينا بيانات شخصية فراسلنا وسنحذفها.

تتضمن مقالاتنا روابط إلى مواقع لا نتحكم بها، منها أمازون ومواقع الشركات المصنّعة. لسنا مسؤولين عن محتواها أو ممارسات الخصوصية فيها، فيُرجى قراءة سياساتها.

التغييرات على هذه السياسة

قد نحدّث هذه السياسة عند تغيّر ممارساتنا أو الأنظمة. سننشر النسخة الجديدة في هذه الصفحة ونغيّر التاريخ في أعلاها، وإذا كان التغيير جوهريًا فسنوضح ذلك في الموقع.
