How we review coffee products
We tell you plainly what each review is based on, so you can decide how much weight to give it.
What we look at
- Manufacturer specifications and the product’s own listing
- Customer feedback and ratings on Amazon.sa
- Availability and delivery in Saudi Arabia
- Voltage, plug type, warranty and regional (GCC) versions, where we could verify them
- Running costs such as capsules, filters and descaling, when we checked them
- Price compared with features, and compared with competing products
How we choose and rank products
A product earns a place in a guide when it does its job well for a clear type of buyer. We rank by value for that buyer, not by commission. Every pick says who it suits and who should look elsewhere, and we list the drawbacks, not only the strengths.
Research-based and hands-on reviews
Unless an article says we used the product ourselves, it is a research-based review built on the sources above. We do not claim to have tasted or tested anything we have not. When we do test a product ourselves, we say so in the article and describe what we did.
Ratings
Star ratings and review counts come from the Amazon listing and are labelled as such. They are not our own scores.
Prices
We do not publish prices, because they change often. Click through to Amazon.sa for the current price.
Limits of our reviews
Specifications, availability and ratings change, and different regional versions of the same model can differ. Check the listing before you buy.
