Editorial policy

These are the rules our editorial team follows when we research, write and update articles.

Independence

Affiliate links do not decide what we recommend. We list drawbacks and say who should not buy a product. We do not accept payment for a positive review or a higher ranking.

Gifted and sponsored products

If a brand lends or gives us a product, or sponsors content, we say so clearly in the article. It does not change our verdict.

Accuracy and sources

We base our articles on manufacturer information, the product listing, and customer feedback, and we say when a claim comes from a particular source. If we are not sure about a fact, we leave it out or say that it is unconfirmed.

Corrections

Updates

We revisit articles when specifications, availability or our recommendations change. We only treat an article as updated when its content has meaningfully changed, not for small edits such as typos.

Use of AI

We use AI tools to help with research and drafting. An editor is responsible for everything we publish, and AI does not decide our recommendations.

Comments and feedback

We read reader feedback and use it to improve our articles. We may remove messages that are abusive or spam.
